SARAH AYOKA FOUNDATION (USA CHAPTER)

SAOF USA works closely with its sister organizations in the UK and Nigeria, operating as a distinguished Non-Profit Organization in New York with 501(C)(3) status. Their contributions go beyond financial assistance, encompassing initiatives to raise crucial awareness about cancer.

Their impactful network transcends New York City, as they maintain a robust partnership with the Coalition of Concerned Medical Professionals in Brooklyn. Moreover, their proactive efforts to broaden their horizons stretch to Atlanta, with ongoing dialogues with potential board members and volunteers.

In 2023, we joyfully welcomed Ms. Cleopatra Duplessy and Alhaji Gboye Lanlokun to our esteemed US board. The addition of their expertise has profoundly elevated our noble mission. Appreciation also extends to Prof. Fola Fakunle in Atlanta, whose remarkable efforts include delivering insightful lectures on liver cancer on our behalf in the US, as well as forging vital connections with specialists in Nigeria.

SAOF USA CHAMPIONED IN THE LAUNCH OF SCHOLARSHIP AND MENTORSHIP PROGRAM FOR NIGERIANS

SAOF USA is delighted to announce the launch of our newest initiative, the Girl Child Support Project, which aims to provide education on menstrual hygiene, and adolescent and sex education to rural school girls. Through this project, we strive to empower these young girls by equipping them with the knowledge and resources they need to navigate these crucial aspects of their lives. As part of this initiative, we also recognize the importance of addressing the needs of the boy child and promoting their employment opportunities.

Together, let us work hand in hand to create a brighter future for the girl child and improve the well-being of rural communities in Nigeria. Your continued support will make a real and lasting impact, empowering these individuals to thrive and succeed.
