SAOF had its first-ever Health Outreach and Cancer Awareness in Kurere Village. Many were attended to and given drugs and educational materials, all for free.

In December, SAOF will be honouring all our volunteers. The work we do wouldn’t have been possible without their dedication and support, and we want to take this opportunity to appreciate their incredible support of our charity.
VOLUNTEER’S APPRECIATION DAY
In this upcoming event, we will be conducting eye test at a Mosque in Abule Egba. SAOF’s commitment to saving lives transcends tribe, colour, race, culture, or religion. Free eye medication Q&A sessions with consultants, and other activities will be provided during the event.

In September, SAOF will focus on raising awareness about men’s health, particularly prostate cancer. The outreach will involve engaging with professionals in this field and all our volunteers will be available for prostate tests for men. We aim to make this event truly memorable.

In November, SAOF will once again host its annual conference for 2024. Reflecting on the significant impact of the inaugural conference which was held in 2023, and initiated by SAOF Nigeria. This year’s conference will be more remarkable, and unforgettable and promote positive impacts.

In October, SAOF will host two health outreach events. The first will focus on breast cancer screening, while the second will be to commemorate the International Day of the Girl Child. These initiatives are poised to make a significant impact and save lives.

SAOF USA Chairman, Albert Van-Lare Esq., will lead the delegates of SAOF Cancer Charity to Abbey Academy for career talk, menstrual hygiene, adolescent and sex education.

SAOF Nigeria is going to recognize our heroes on June 22, 2014 at Ibis Hotel, Toyin Street, Lagos Nigeria. This event, which includes awards and fundraising, is the first of its kind. It’s a special evening to thank people who have passionately helped SAOF grow since it started.

Join SAOF on May 27th at the Little Saint Orphanage Home, Abulegba, as we mark Nigerian Children’s day with the orphans. We’ll be giving charity and inviting donations to support these children. Your contribution can make a big impact!
