Women Breakfast Meeting

In Igosun, Kwara State, SAOF Nigeria ran a cancer awareness and health outreach program for the local community. Chief A Sayomi, a former deputy governor of Kwara State, Nigeria, presided over this occasion. The purpose of this outreach was to educate the locals about cancer.

For the second time, SAOF UK returned to Birmingham, London, this time in honor of Black History Month. The Birmingham Ugano African Club King Standing was the organizer, and the topic of discussion was the Ebola outbreak in Africa. All attendees also received complimentary medical examinations.

BUACK Awareness

Africa’s health and well-being was the focus of the BUACK Health Awareness event in North London. Free educational materials were given out, SAOF publications were distributed, and Dr. Oduwaiye and the SAOF UK Team were present to raise awareness.

We held a health outreach and cancer awareness program for the Muslim community in Mushin, Lagos. At the time, it was the first of its type, and medications and pharmaceuticals were given away for free.

MOSQUE CANCER AWARENESS

First Baptist Church Orile Agege, Lagos, where Mama Sarah Ayoka Oduwaiye was born, SAOF was there with the Chairman and Nigeria Team. After an interactive session on Breast Cancer, our customized SBE CD and reading materials were distributed to members of the church for free.

ECWA Church Awareness Outreach Campaign: SAOF had a successful Church Awareness Campaign at ECWA Church, Coker Road, Orile Agege, and SAOF SBE was played, touching many lives on that Cancer awareness.

ECWA Church Awareness:

Dr. Oyegbami and members of SAOF Team Nigeria were at Zion African Church, Iyana Ipaja, Lagos. There was an interactive session where questions on Breast Cancer issues were answered after which the SAOF BSE video was played during the service. Reading materials were distributed as usual.

ZION AFRICAN CHURCH AWARENESS

Sarah Ayoka Oduwaiye Foundation Village Health Outreach and Diabetes & Hypertension Awareness at Alamuku Village. Free materials were distributed, and there was a session of interactive questions and answers on all the health talk.
