SAOF IN THE NEWS

Anthony Conner’s Sponsored Cancer Walk from Southend in Essex to Walsingham in Norfolk, a distance of approximately 140 miles. The walk’s purpose was to raise funds for the Foundation, and it commenced in Southend on Saturday, 27th May, and finished on Friday, 2nd June 2017.

Two additional villages, Evbogho and Iguogbe, were participated in this SAOF Rural Health Outreach in Ilobi, Benin, Edo State. Ilobi Village Awareness

Dr. Oduwaiye and the Nigerian SAOF Team were in Offa Grammar School educating students about how to fight the deadly disease ‘cancer’ as a teenager. Dr. Oduwaiye had passed through the same Secondary School, and all his old schoolmates were also there to identify with him.

OGS Teenage Cancer Awareness

SAOF Nigeria Team was at Soul Winning Cathedral, Yaba. Many Widows were screened for general ailments, and free drugs were given to them. There were sessions of an Awareness Campaign on Early Detection and Prevention of Breast Cancer.

Church Widow Awareness

SAOF had a Health Community Awareness at Orile Agege Community. The focus was on Breast Cancer in the Community. SAOF’s vision is with the sole purpose of Awareness without discrimination of color, race, or religion. Free SBE CD, free Mosquito Nets, and Free Reading Materials were distributed.

This Village Outreach was actually in honor of one of SAOF’s UK Trustees, Dr. Obaro, who is late now. This Outreach was well-coordinated in partnership with Ogori Grand Progressive Initiative.

The SAOF team in Lagos was at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Jabata, Oyo State, along with Dr. O. Oduwaiye and friends/members of the SAOF foundations from UCH Ibadan and Ilorin. Following Public Health workshops, complimentary medications and instructional materials were given out.

EBC Health Outreach (january 2016)

The 2015 Annual General Meeting of SAOF UK Trustees, Partners, and Friends was held at the Lessof Auditorium in Lewisham Hospital, London SE136LH. A discussion about Woman Cancer was held. The actions of SAOF in the past, present, and future were also examined.
