2020 ANNUAL CONFERENCE

2021 Annual Conference, was virtual and chaired by Prof. Ola Ogunyemi, spotlighted cancer survivors’ testimonies, offering hope to fighters. Four shared stories, with talks on health by experts. Featured fundraising, poetry, and contributions from Dr. Oyegbami (NG) and Alber Van-lare ESQ (NY).

SAOF nigeria Board of trustees MEETING

SAOF Nigeria convened a session of the Board of Trustees at Aderupoko to strategize the advancement of SAOF. Attendees included the Board members, as well as friends and supporters of SAOF from Lagos

ITA-IYALODE HEALTH OUTREACH

SAOF Nigeria organized a Cancer Awareness and Health Outreach at The African Church Cathedral in Ita Iyalode, Abeokuta. Talks covered diabetes, hypertension, and health topics, with free medical checks, consultations, medicines, mosquito nets, and drugs provided. Pa. Oyetade Oduwaiye attended

ILOBI Evbogho Iguogbe village outreach

SAOF organized a Rural Health Outreach in Ilobi, Benin, Edo State, involving Evbogho and Iguogbe villages. Nurses from Benin Teaching Hospital,  Ibadan UITH, and the SAOF Team from Lagos participated. Free medicines were given, co-sponsored by Late Mr. Osas Aigbeken

SAOF WALK FOR CANCER BY ANTHONY CORNER

Anthony Conner organized a Sponsored Cancer Walk from Southend in Essex to Walsingham in Norfolk, covering approximately 140 miles, from May 27th to June 2nd, 2017. The purpose was to raise funds for the Foundation.

ORILE AGEGE COMMUNITY AWARENESS

SAOF conducted a Health Community Awareness event focused on breast cancer in the Orile Agege Community, emphasizing awareness without discrimination of color, race, or religion. Free SBE CDs, mosquito nets, and reading materials were distributed.

ODEOMU 10th anniversary outreach

SAOF’s 10th-anniversary outreach, we held a three-day Health Outreach and Cancer Awareness Campaign at St. David Anglican Church in Ode Omu Community, Osun State. The campaign was successful in discovering many breast cancer cases and saving lives. It was co-sponsored by Dr. Titus Odedun.

ILORIN 10th anniversary lecture

In October 2018, SAOF celebrated its 10th anniversary with a one-day Anniversary Lecture at the African People’s Hall. The lecture was about cancer in the community. The lecturers were from the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, and they provided professional and explanatory sessions.

ADERUPOKO 10th anniversary outreach

In August 2017, SAOF UK Team visited a Hindu Temple near Lewisham BR station for a Cancer Awareness Campaign. They focused on raising awareness about breast cancer. At the end of the program, they had an interactive session. They distributed free SBE CDs.
