SAOF celebrated the International Day of the Girl Child on October 11, 2023, by empowering rural schoolgirls in Abeokuta North Local Area, Ogun State. We emphasized the importance of menstrual hygiene, adolescent and sex education, and the vital role girls play in society. We distributed sanitary pads to girls and provided writing materials to boys, aiming to enhance rural health and education in Africa, especially Nigeria
