Ita Iyalode Health Outreach

SAOF launched a program in November 2018 that began in Ipee Town, continued to Offa, and ended in Erin Ile Community. The program’s main objectives were to give willing residents of these communities free medication and treatment and to promote the early diagnosis of breast cancer.

SAOF held a one-day anniversary lecture at the African People’s Hall in October 2018 to commemorate the organization’s tenth anniversary. The topic of the talk was communal cancer. The lecturers were from the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, and they provided professional and explanatory sessions.

The 10th-anniversary celebrations concluded with a two-day Health Awareness event at Aderupoko, where SAOF was first inaugurated ten years ago. They provided free vital signs checks, prescribed and distributed free medication, and conducted interactive health talk sessions. Free health educational materials were also distributed.

St. David Anglican Church in Ode Omu Community, Osun State hosted a three-day Health Outreach and Cancer Awareness Campaign as part of SAOF’s tenth anniversary outreach.
